J. Marvin Herndon

President, Transdyne Corporation, Ph.D.-nuclear chemistry, post-doctoral-geochemistry and cosmochemistry, noted for: nickel silicide inner core identification, nuclear georeactor generation of the geomagnetic field, whole-Earth decompression dynamics, thermonuclear ignition of stars by fission

On July 20, 1969, NASA forever changed human history when astronauts first stepped on the Moon. But what happened after that fateful footstep? How did NASA change from a pioneering organization into a members-only bureaucracy that stifles scientific thought? Dr. J. Marvin Herndon tackles this question in his book, NASA’s Science: A Betrayal of Trust. Herndon cites examples of NASA neglect and...
NASA’s Science: A Betrayal of Trust
If you’ve ever seen a shooting star, perhaps you’ve glimpsed a hint of our planet’s composition. Dr. J. Marvin Herndon explores the connection between meteors and the Earth’s core in his book, What Meteorites Tell Us About Earth. Herndon traces the historical highlights of meteorite investigations from “sky stones” documented in the late fifteenth century up through scientific discoveries of...
What Meteorites Tell Us About Earth
"For nearly half a century, the planetesimal theory dominated scientific thought about Earth's formation. Earth and other planets were thought to have formed from dust grains that collided and stuck together, becoming progressively larger bodies and finally planets. But there was confusion; the pieces in this theory did not match critical observations about the Earth’s composition. Dr. J. Marvin...
Beyond Plate Tectonics: Consequence of Earth's Formation as a Jupiter-Like Gas Giant
The last 200 years have seen major discoveries in determining how the Earth formed, but until now, a unifying theory did not exist. In this ebook, Dr. J. Marvin Herndon puts his forth his theory of the Earth’s formation and how that determined some of our planet’s characteristics, namely the geomagnetic field. Learn more about what the magnetic field does, how it protects us from the Sun, why the...
Origin of the Geomagentic Field: Consequence of Earth's Formation as a Jupiter-Like Gas Giant
How did the Earth form? What's inside the Earth's core? Are we really running out of oil? Is there one theory that explains all the physical observations we see in our planet's geography, topology and oceanography? Dr. J. Marvin Herndon presents a unifying theory about the Earth's formation and composition in volume 1 of the Indivisible Earth series: Consequences of Earth's Formation as a...

BestThinking.com to Shut Down Permanently on December 31, 2017

If you want to save a copy of your content, you must do so before the website shuts down on December 31, 2017. We will NOT be able to provide any assistance after the website shuts down. We are available at support@thinkermedia.com only until the shutdown to provide more information and assistance.

It was a noble 10-year experiment, but it turns out that the writers with the best content are the least adept at the tech required to publish under our model, which in hindsight, makes perfect sense. If you are dedicating your life to becoming an expert in your specialty, you don’t have a lot of time left for figuring out publishing tech.

It hasn't helped that we have entered an age of unprecedented polarization and antagonism which doesn't foster demand for a website dedicated to the respectful engagement of diverse views.

Thank you, everyone!
