Taxes, the Disenfranchised and Subsidairity 1.) Government acquires monies for administration via taxes. 2.) Taxes contract (shrink) an economy, because goods & services carry the cost of the tax. 3.) The Laffer-Curve pegs the tax rate that optimizes government revenue. Eric Holder, the Attorney General of the United States at the U.S. Department of Justice, seems to contradict, via his choices, the very concept of Justice.
