The process of creativity has always fascinated Kirsten. At a young age she began to write short stories and poems in her free time and enjoyed doing so for school assignments. Despite the doubts of others, Kirsten enrolled in North Carolina State University's English undergraduate program and has never regretted one minute of it. Her interest in creative and investigative writing has heightened through the years as she has interacted with the talented writing staff at the university. Her writing style evolved and matured during this time and she had the privileged of receiving several honors as well as having some of her stories, poems and photographs accepted by some of the university's publications and contests. She is pursuing a career in editing and publishing.
An open and creative mind are the two most important qualities that Kirsten thinks a writer should possess. She aspires to publish short articles and stories early in her career and go on to potentially publish novels--possibly a few of her own!
