I live in London, UK, but I was born in Athens, Greece. I finished my BSc undergraduate degree from Biological Sciences, Univ. of Patras, Greece. I subsequently gained a PhD degree in Molecular Approaches of Gene Therapy from Univ of London, UK. I am currently working on HIV vaccine development.

I received my Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Washington. I am a postdoctoral scholar at University of California, San Francisco, where my research is focused on pharmacogenomics of membrane transporters. I am passionately interested in translational medicine and neurochemistry.

Bruce Beutler received his MD degree at the University of Chicago. His expertise is in the field of innate immunity, particularly innate immune sensing, as well as cytokine biology. He is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Genetics at the Scripps Research Institute

It was a noble 10-year experiment, but it turns out that the writers with the best content are the least adept at the tech required to publish under our model, which in hindsight, makes perfect sense. If you are dedicating your life to becoming an expert in your specialty, you don’t have a lot of time left for figuring out publishing tech.

It hasn't helped that we have entered an age of unprecedented polarization and antagonism which doesn't foster demand for a website dedicated to the respectful engagement of diverse views.
