We know that Patrick Matthew, the (1831) originator of the theory of macroevolution by natural selection (see Sutton 2017) , truly believed in later life that a supernatural deity set nature up to evolve from original designed creations. But Matthew never included that notion in his 1831 book 'On Naval Timber and Arboriculture', which contains the original complete theory of evolution by...  Read More

In addition to singing (Bach, Mozart, Schubert, and others), I grow roses for pleasure. Today is cloudy and overcast in north central Florida, but some of my shrubs are nevertheless showing in glory. I'm going to try to add some photos here. I hope they load and that you enjoy them.  Read More

Much of America for the last two-thirds of a century has been a Third-World country, grossly impoverished, brutally violent, unrelentingly vicious, especially in race wars which white supremacists have been conducting under the guises of this or that authority. Now, under the reigning puppet of the Re-thugl-i-gun-Russian junta, all of the cruel deceptive masks are being lifted, and we are seeing...  Read More

The 2016 Fact Wedgie Award. Science Category Winner: The Royal Society. For failure to accept the new and paradigm busting facts (Sutton, 2014 and 2016 ), which have been discovered in the history of discovery of natural selection, the annual Fact-Wedgie Award - for being most wedgied by new and uncomfortably embarrassing facts - goes to the Royal Society. What does it mean to "turn bad"? "Bad" after all is a word that has been re-assigned by street-culture have the opposite-to-old meaning. Is it OK today for scientists to adopt the culture of the street? To become effectively "gangsta-ists" or "sciencesters"? Who knows? Interestingly, it is rather telling, I think, that not one of the many active "New Data" fact denying Darwin scholars has yet dared to post a comment on Professor Mark Griffiths' blog on the topic of the veracity and significance of what really has been newly discovered in the field of the history of discovery of macro evolution by natural selection. Does he really look so scary? Or are they...  Read More

My Dear honest Darwinist, I don't know how to tell you this. But I feel you should know that we've seen him doing it, and the letters between them. The letter below is from Jim Dempster. He writes to Ian Hardie in December 1994. Ian was, at the time, this letter was typed, the solicitor of the Patrick Matthew Trust. The "Trust" was set up by the descendants of Matthew. A designer or a "Creator", what is the difference? So asked Jim Dempster in 1996 Why do so many Darwinists "create Darwin" as an atheist when he clearly believed in what he called the " Creator "? Jim Dempster made this fact very clear in a 1996 letter to New Scientist, where, by reference to the published literature, he proves that Darwin apparently believed in a "Creator". Dempster...  Read More

I am quite heartened to learn by private correspondence today that, following a letter from Jim Dempster 's daughter - Soula Dempster - the Encyclopaedia Britannica has entirely re-written its Patrick Matthew page to reflect many of the "real facts" as opposed to the old Darwinist "false facts"- such as the old Darwinist myth that the original ideas on natural selection in Matthew's (1831) book...  Read More

This is Scotland's fight. We started it here on Best Thinking . Now Scotland will finish it (here). 1831 - as I explain in my 2014 book Nullius in Verba - was a time of great social violence and uncertainty. Britain was in the shadow of the French Revolution and feared a similar uprising from the lower classes. Riots were breaking out all over the country. Richard Dawkins's (2010) ludicrous claim that Matthew (1831) should have, in the first half of the 19th-century, trumpeted the...  Read More

The Postmodern Darwinist Much good sense has been written of the intellectual harm caused by daft-as-a-brush postmodern notions that nothing is certain or objective and that all "truth" is simply a subjective social construct (see Gross et al 1996 ), which is then thought by postmodernists to be rationally and equally open to any self-servingly favourable human interpretation they or anyone...  Read More

If you want to save a copy of your content, you must do so before the website shuts down on December 31, 2017. We will NOT be able to provide any assistance after the website shuts down. We are available at only until the shutdown to provide more information and assistance.

It was a noble 10-year experiment, but it turns out that the writers with the best content are the least adept at the tech required to publish under our model, which in hindsight, makes perfect sense. If you are dedicating your life to becoming an expert in your specialty, you don’t have a lot of time left for figuring out publishing tech.

It hasn't helped that we have entered an age of unprecedented polarization and antagonism which doesn't foster demand for a website dedicated to the respectful engagement of diverse views.

Thank you, everyone!
