Personal research objective: To contribute to population health through quantitative and qualitative research, making evidence-based contributions to real-life policy.
Topic area 1. Health policy for population health: priority setting, allocative efficiency, reimbursement, evidence-based practice guidelines, public health impact.
Topic area 2. Data-driven integrated modeling of population health: lifetime health and cost of interventions related to risk factors, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, chest disease, breast cancer, malaria, pneumonia, hepatitis; impact research in health and reproduction.
Topic area 3. Real-life cluster-trials on (system) interventions in chronic and other diseases, combined with model-based extrapolation and standardisation.
