Widely experienced in the field of education, Tony has worked with students ranging from elementary school to doctoral students. He has a doctorate in Education Leadership and Higher Education.
Tony Pellegrini has been giving back to students his entire professional career. Initially trained as a high school drama teacher, Tony provided support to students in developing their performance skills. While working as a classroom teacher, he earned his Master’s degree in Secondary Education and his administrative endorsement. Tony served for three years as a Director of Student Services and was encouraged to earn his terminal degree. While earning his doctorate in Education Leadership and Higher Education, he served as a reading specialist at an at-risk middle school in Las Vegas, NV. While completing his dissertation, he began to teach Instructional Technology courses for doctoral students. Tony served as an elementary school principal for 11 years. He was a president of his state’s principal association and was a state representative for the National Association of Elementary School Principals. Recently, he was awarded the “Exemplar of Technology Delivered Instruction” award from the Utah State Board of Regents. He has been chairing and advising doctoral students since the early 1990’s. Tony enjoys the relationships with the scores of students he has nurtured through their doctoral work. These professional associations bring a richness of depth and meaning to Tony’s research. He encourages all of his students to maintain their focus on their research and on completing their dissertation so that they can support those for whom they have stewardship.
